Dante Alighieri Divine Comedy

Italian Libraries – Biblioteche

Without doubt one of the most interesting photo assignments I’ve shot while in Italy – the hidden treasures to discover in Italy’s exsquisite libraries.

The highlight no doubt for me was photographing Dante Alighieri’s Divine Comedy, original edition published in 1472 at the beautiful Biblioteca Angelica in Rome.

You can read the full article in the New York Times here and view more photos in my Italy Image Archive.

On your next visit to Italy, be sure to include at least one of these hidden gems in your travel plans.
