I had dreamed of going to Montenegro for many years to photograph the spectacular scenery there. I was truly inspired and intrigued by this country, so when New York Times asked me if I was available for an assignment in Montenegro, I was pretty ecstatic!

A recent assignment for the New York Times took me to the very colourful and vibrant Sicilian city of Catania.
Sicily is one of my favourite regions of Italy to photograph purely because it is so rich visually and very theatrical.
